A total eclipse of the sun is a rare event, once-in-a-life-time for most people. “There’s something about seeing the sun totally eclipsed, feeling the temperature drop about 10 degrees and standing there in awe with a group of people that a photo can never capture. It will affect you emotionally and physically.”
BeckenRidge Vineyard, in Dallas, Oregon, is located in the path of the earth’s moon eclipsing of the sun. The moon will begin to cross in front of the sun about 9:30 am on Monday, August 21st. Then we will experience 1 minute and 57 seconds of darkness at full eclipse, starting at 10:17 am. We want as many people as possible to be able to share this experience with us. And since lodging establishments have already been booked up, we are opening up our property for RV dry campers. We have an event facility – building, grounds, and parking lot – perfect for a gathering for a weekend of fun, food, and new friendships!
Taska’s Party Band will provide live music for your dancing enjoyment on our dance hall’s all hardwood floor. They play to all styles of dance, from Foxtrot to Lindy Hop. So bring your dancing shoes for two evenings of dance. Mike and Kathy will also hold two dance lessons and teach “something fun!!”
RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED – Call or email attached form
