SPRING
Foggy mornings, crisp air, lively flowers and grape vines poised with potential as new green unfurls. This is the freshly beautiful setting to your spring wedding, as you say your vows, shielded from any possible shower by our beautiful ballroom and covered patio which offers a lovely vantage point over our vineyard, where in spring, full, breathtaking rainbows are common.
SUMMER
Vines begin to flower in early June, new shoots stretching longer and longer into the sunlight, swaying playfully for lovers couple photos. The ground blanketed in vibrant green, speckled here and there with wildflowers. Now begins the most ideal times for outdoor weddings on our beautiful lawn, running directly adjacent to our Pinot Noir, stretching away and up the hill into Gewürztraminer, sweeping up, and off into the trees and distant valley, and on clear days, the mountains are visible.
As the season lengthens into July and the days grow hot and dry, delicate flower clusters harden into tiny berries, and swell, then ever so gradually deepen in color in a mottled, random pattern creating a beautiful backdrop long before their full color sets in. These are the days the vineyard looks it’s free- flowing wildest, just before this year’s shoots are strong enough to be bent gracefully down and wrapped in the style of of our old world high hanging trellis system.
AUTUMN
As September settles, the grape’s hue grows rich, and the leaves on the vine are tinged with gold to match the ground underneath. Days are still long and warm and it’s the perfect window to catch the vineyard in full, vibrant fruit before it is harvested and off to make wine, typically late September – early/mid October. Autumn is one long, colorful celebration at Beckenridge, even when the grapes have been harvested, then the trees begin to turn and the whole view is rimmed with red, gold and the deep green of pine and cedar.
WINTER
The magic doesn’t end with last leaf’s land. When it grows cold, we begin with decking our trees and bushes in festive lighting, leading you inside where the warm wood tones and grand fireplace of our ballroom, create a delightful atmosphere to have a cozy, intimate party to celebrate your marriage. And if it snows? Then it’s extra special.
